Steering ball joints

![](/sites/default/files/rts-particular.jpg)
Joint between the steering rod and the journal. It allows the chassis to flex when there are potholes in the road, without affecting the steering box.
Axial steering bearings
![](/sites/default/files/rts-particular.jpg)
Assembled on the ends of the rack, they keep the oscillations from the wheel-journal from reaching the steering box.
Steering rods

These belong to the steering system called steering box or parallelogram, in this system, since the rotation points are parallel, meaning that steering is more flexible and precise on irregular terrain.
Their mission is to directly transfer the steering wheel's effect to the wheels.
Steering sets

These belong to the steering system called rack-and-pinion, made up of the joint of the steering ball joint and the axial bearing.
